After living for so many many years, I learn that we came to this world alone, and we will leave it alone...... Oh what does this got to do with the topic? Nothing, just me pulling the legs of KH, she hates LOVE! ( Or actually deep down inside her, she harbors the feeling, needs and cherish LOVE?).
I am writing about life.... yeah my life.... how I found it and got lost... over n over again. Today dont mind my England and writing... it is what comes into my mind. I want to dabble, rumble and nibble what ever is on my mind.....
So back to myself. This was what I learn prior to 2009 :
1) All things u feel is because of u!
2) All things happened to u is because of u!
On the topic of all things I feel is because of me! Let me elaborate ....
See, if I am sad or happy or mad or whatever la I am feeling, it is because of me.
For example, I was sad, some (lots of) friends lost their job last month. I stopped being sad, and focus on helping them in small ways. Give them encouragement, help find jobs, hulur some dough where needed.... and this month most of them are back on their feet! Yeah!
I was mad, because my lady friend could not understand me, and wanted to kill herself. For the first time, I decided to stop being mad, and all is well.... (At least for now, until the next cycle.... Awooooooooo Awoooooo, waiting for the full moon).
So, I realised, I cant control others and how they feel, but I can control mine. I am learning.... to control how I feel.... and I think it will be fun.....
The next topic, all happened to me is because of me! Ermm this is tough, let me try to make some sense....
Most (lots 0f) my friends were retrenched, but not me, even though I am the most likely candidate... as company rule, last in first out. Yet I was not, cause I work to make sure I was not. My lady friend felt or did what she wanted to do, because I she thinks I caused her to feel that way, and in a way I was doing things purposely to pissed her off, so serves me right!
I woke up feeling good or lousy, cause I want it to be. Or I loose money today, because I let it happen. Or the train knocked me down later today, because I was not being careful enough! So what if a boat rammed into u in the middle of a busy highway? Is that my (your) fault too? Yes it is..... whatever happen to us is our fault, and whatever happen to someone else it is their fault! Hehehe... confusing..... let me learn myself some more, maybe next time I can tell it in a better way. Mean while, those that agree with my rambling today may give comments, those that do not agree, can say it somewhere else!!!!
Hehehe.... it is not my fault what happen to u..... I am only responsible for myself. The way I feel and what ever happen to me.....
Have a wonderful day my frens!!! My lovely frens.......

Had a wonderful weekend, but.....
Congratulation to my sister. Her wedding reception was during the weekend. After breaking off from her first engagement, finally for the second time of engagement, she got married....
I had fun. I was at my kampung since Saturday. So many of childhood friends and relatives were there. Lots of stories and memories. Overall I enjoyed meeting all of them...
So happy for my sister, finally she is off my shoulder! Hahaha.... u know la when my mother passed away, I am like the father. At times during the reception, I actually refered myself as "Abah" to her....
Yup it was tiring, but then again worth it.
Left my house for two days. I reached home about 8 30 pm Sunday. Looked for my kitten, it was no where in sight. Called and looked everywhere, it was gone.... I can feel how I felt when father died. I could not accept it then. Took me more than 5 years to come to term with his death....
Now my kitten is gone.... What a damper to a great weekend!

Selamat Bercuti Dan Selamat Hari Raya Eidil Fitri.
Before that I want to tell you all what I learned this morning. I used the microwave oven a lot. Even to cook or bake or just to warm up left over food.
This morning I wanted to bake my big juicy curry puff that was made in Singapore. So I took it out from the freezer and put it in a container that says microwave oven friendly.
Then I preheat the oven. When preheat was done I set it to bake for ten minutes. Shove the container in and press the start button.
I tried to take some 40 winks. Woke up when I heard the microwave bell indicating that the timer is done. Half asleep, I can smell something burning. Behold, the container actually melted!
So I learn, that baking in a microwave oven, one must use baking utensils. Microwave friendly containers will melt if you bake or grill! What la, after so many years, only this morning I know......
Wishing you all a great holiday, and "Selamat Hari Raya Eidil Fitri". Do have the heart to forgive me if intentionally or otherwise, I have in any way done any of you any wrong....
Have a wonderful and safe journey for those traveling.
Isn't it great to lead a wonderful and fulfilling life? Pray that all our deeds and fasting is accepted by Allah. InsyAllah.

U Mobile.
Ah! I went to the MiTV launching of their 018 number! For a first timer attending some sort of launching by the Telco, I was quite impressed.
As I entered the venue, Manhattan Ballroom, Berjaya Hotel and Convention Center, there were already lots of people. Cant seem to recognise any of them. Guess it was not my crowd. Later I saw some of my former colleagues from IT industry.
There were clowns. Yeah actual clowns doing magic tricks and juggling, entertaining the crowd. But what caught my eyes were the "statues". Actual human acting like mannequin. I have to respect them to be able to stand still with their postures for so long. It must have hurt their muscles.
An interesting point, well the ladies were not so revealing.... but the men "statues" u can actually see the shape and size of their penis.... hehehehe.....
Later I saw that those "statues" were painted or wrote on by some individuals, with symbols of love, and encouragement....
Then the guest of honor turns up. He was only 40 minutes late... I have seen him giving his speech before. He does not mince his words, but somehow, I felt he is from a different era, but very comfortable in the future technology as he clowned and bashed the Telcos. Of course he got everyone's attention when he started his speech on "foreplay"....
What really impress me, was the 3D presentation. I felt (am) like a kampung boy! To see 3D we have to wear the 3D glasses. Nowadays, we dont have to. Looks like I am the one that is out of date!
I hope MiTV will deliver their offerings as promised, the convergence of mobile phone, internet and broadcasting. Well actually it is for all the Telco to deliver! And watch out for broadband packages and contents offerings!

May Your Fasting Makes You A Better Person.
Assalamualaikum to all my brothers and sisters in Islam. My prayers to all that is fasting today, and all that will fast this fasting month of Ramadhan. May Allah bless you all with all your prayers and make your wishes comes true. InsyAllah.
Wish I am an Ustaz, then I can give you all a better understanding why we are fasting. Other than of course it is requested by our religion.
What I understand is that, fasting is to make us a better person. Some of the things I can think of :
a) Appreciating those underprivileged people of their plights.
b) For us to control our wants and fancies. Not only our speech, sights and hearing.
c) For our health. Unfortunately some of us took the opportunity to have a feast every breaking of the fast.
d) For our monetary gain so that we can give more to those that needs it more than us.
I am sure there are more. Feels free to educate me and the rest. After all we are to learn everyday.
Last, my prayers to all that has not yet fast, I pray that you will start to fast. It is not for anyone else but yourself. I also pray that all mankind will live in peace. Amin.
Wassalam.

Insanity.
What pushes a person till their mind goes bonkers?
Pressure. Lover, family, peer, society and so many other possible human interaction can create pressure. Even religion. Other things that is not human related like environment. Would you believe me if I say, whatever the source of pressure, it is us ultimately that will decide to "label" it as pressure?
Heredity. Just my opinion. Possible. However most is not heredity. But of environment and family experience. The child see an adult goes bonkers or berserk. When the child grows he/she emulates the scenario when put under pressure. And it goes down from generation to generation.
Trauma. Physical or mental trauma. Accidents that involve force to the brain. Witnessing an incident that is out of the norm. Catching your lover in bed with another person for example.
Illness. High fever, virus related and disillusion.
The above are some that may cause a person to become insane. Are there ways to avoid or minimize us becoming insane? I leave it to you all to ponder the solutions now that we are aware some of the causes.
You know what I realized? No matter who you are, you will have a little streak of insanity in you! Tak caya...? Takpe.....

Seat belts.
Update : My colleague, which was the driver in the accident is slowly recovering. Most probably he will recuperate within 3 months. Just to inform you all here, his ear was nearly severed by the seat belt. Even the driver's airbag did not manage to stop his jaw being smashed into the steering wheels.
I have been pondering on seat belts. Thanks to HL. Well... I will think about the airbag later.
Yes I agree, that seat belts do save life. However, users should be educated on the right way of usage. Or is there such thing of using seat belts the right way?
First of all, how can I confirm this? In some cars, the airbag will be activated only if seat belts are worn? Therefore, if you are not using your seat belts, and you are involve in an accident, the air bag will not function. Please read your car manual. It seems that one of my colleague's sister was killed in an accident and the airbag was not activated. The family tried suing the car manufacturer, however was told that the airbag will only be activated if seat belts are worn. Their case was thrown out.
Now on seat belts matters. I have been pondering....
a) Kids have difficulty using the standard seat belts. We are not talking about babies or toddlers here.
b) How about pregnant ladies?
c) Why are seat belts like condoms... one size fits all? Hehehe... cant help using that phrase to keep you people excited!
I realised on the higher end automobile the seat belts can be adjusted to the body frame of the driver or passenger. Now, do not talk about those expensive airbags. I think all car manufacturer should have a better design seat belts that have more safety features and standards. That is why I said in my previous posting, seat belts are not safety belts......
Let us not talk about kids or pregnant ladies, even ordinary drivers in a normal car, the seat belts can be more harmful in an accident not exceeding the driving limit. If you notice, the seat belts in your car is fastened to the wall of your car in a standard position and height. So some of you will realise that the seat belts is actually just behind your right ear for the driver. Just imagine you in a collision not exceeding the speed limit. What do you think will happen? Chances are for those that is shorter, you will end up with half if not all of your ear cut off!
Just my two cents worth.... car manufacturers should produce better safety seat belts for the drivers and passengers. If they can be proactive, they should also produce specially designed seat belts for kids and pregnant ladies.....

Seat belts are not safety belts.
Disclaimer : Names, places and story line has been changed or omitted to protect the owners.
It was early in the morning. I usually drove myself. I hate to be the passenger. But on that faithful early morning, I was the passenger.
We just finished our meeting and discussion. On my way back home, I decided to hitch a ride with one of my colleague. This is something I seldom do....
We do not talked that much, as we have done so much talking and discussing in the office. We were listening to the slow rock music from the radio. I could not remember the channel. Hot FM was it?
Then I remembered we approached a four junction traffic light. The light was green. My colleague slowed down as we entered the junction. That was all I remembered.
The next thing I remembered I was in the emergency hall of a hospital. My colleague's head was bandaged and bloody. He was conscious, I recalled. Me, I was still in one piece, with slight injuries to my leg. My ugly face still intact.
For the first few hours, my mind was blank. I felt helpless, I cant recall what happened that early morning. I was so frustrated, I cant even remember what year it was. All was just one blank and void feeling.
It seems I lost my short term memory. When my other colleague and family arrived I can recognised them. However, I cant recall what happened.
Gradually after staying nearly two days in the hospital, I can recall what happened up to the traffic light, after that one void and blank feeling, then it resume in the emergency room of the hospital.
Until today I cant recall what happened during that void and blank moment. I was told, we were in an automobile accident. Apparently, the other vehicle hit us from the driver's side. Most probably the driver was drunk or damn sleepy! It took him 2 days to do his police report......
As for my colleague, thank Allah it was not worse. He got more than 20 stitches to his head. A smashed jaw, which need a 4 hour operation. And a fractured leg. He too cant remember of the actual accident.
If I understand correctly, the doctor told us, it is common for accident victims to loose their short term memories when they are not aware of the impending accident. Accident victim who saw or notice the impending accident, will be able to remember the incident. Due to the unforeseen trauma, accident victim like me, might never recall the actual accident at all.
So now I am still recuperating. From this incident I learn, that air bags do keep you from heavily injured in a normal accident. But seat belts (not safety belts!) makes your body sore and full of bruises. My stomach, back and shoulders are still full of bruises, very sore and soft......
My advice to all that is in any vehicle on the road, to be aware at all time. You can never know, when it is your time to be involve in an accident. Take care you all.
Hehehe.... for me, taking a flower bath is just a figure of speech.

A short visit to my home town.
Hi,
For those that was wondering where I was.... I went to "Balik Kampung". Actually dropped by somewhere else on the way.... I will be posting some pictures this week or early next week ... see how la.
Tomorrow I am going to Labuan. Hope to get back by Wednesday. Last time I was there, it was such an adventure..... I was hopping from plane to plane... luckily did not have to ride the boats to reach there.
This time, I got a direct flight. The adventure will be that my boss decide not to go on the last minute..... It will be a different adventure by itself. We will be David fighting Goliath! Do not mind me for being over dramatic.... but how can I not when my boss must attend, but he chooses not to!
I had a lovely time at my home town. I remembered when I was young, how I wish a double decker bus will ply the route of my hometown. I always thought it will be a dream. What a wonderful feeling, when I saw a double decker bus going thru my little home town! Things are happening in this little sleepy town......
Got to go to my next meeting. The meeting that was postponed twice.... yes meeting with my boss enemy no 1! I am having butterflies in my stomach! I dare not even take breakfast, cause I might just puke!
Have a great Monday... and a much better week!
P/S: I will be buying lots of chocolates in Labuan......

I am the preacher.
The irony of it all.
But foremost, I would like to thank all that has given encouragement and word of wisdom throughout my short stint in the blogging world. I sincerely and really appreciate each one of you for giving a boost every time my moral is down.
However, that is the wonder of God. Most of the time, I am the preacher, or some sort. Pushing my team every time they are down or facing issues (Just changing the word "problem" with "issues" help most of my team).
When faced with problems, they either froze or crumble. I am preaching to them lots of ideas, to better themselves when facing adversaries. Cause it is what we perceive motivates us to deal daily issues.....
So I am the beacon, to guide them in times of rough moments. Most of the time I am able to guide them for months if not for years. There are times that I let some of them down, yet if one persevere, all "issues" can be overcome.
So the irony of it all...... The preacher himself in the real world is at lost at times. Lately he is lost most of the time. He is very grateful for all the encouragement he got from all his friends here.
Thank you!

The Story.
I got this friend. Knows him since I was a kid. We went to the same hostel. He had a bad reputation. Kind of rough and tough. With his toungue too (hehehe... ). Yeah he was kind of mean.....
He mellowed down as he grew older. I guess he has done most things earlier than most of us. Some of us would even asked advised from him, as he seems to know a little bit more than us.....
So one day he settled down. We would say that they were not a bad couple. Both are above average heights and looks. Some of his friends even say he married a model. Not true la, but the lady looks better la.....
What we gather, cause we really do not know what happened as we dont live with him! Hehehe... Was that he was the so called "suami mithali". Yes he did all the chores that I wrote in my previous post. And much much more. He was really trying to prove to himself that he could be a great husband, I guess....
Imagine, when they got the first baby, the wife did not even wake up a single time to feed or clean up the baby......
That was the first year of marriage. Then things got bad for him for the second year...... We (his so called close friends) had to rescue him from his house, for an all outing with boys now and then......
He was not allowed to speak to any women. Not even his cousin or even his own sister-in-law.... One time the wife was so furious, cause she caught him, having a conversation with the shampoo lady while holding his baby in a supermarket! The lady was apparently trying to sell shampoo la!
To cut the story short, what you think happened?
The last straw was when the wife did not allow him to go out with his buddies! Yes us! So what you think happened?
Yes he walked out off the marriage after two years..........
And guess what? The story from the other side says, he left because he chooses his friends over his own family..... that we know.... not very true.....
What do we learn from here? Marriage goes down the drain not only due to infidelity.... it comes in a lot of forms. So my friends out there, evaluate yourself from time to time..... Never stop learning and open up your eyes. We are only human...... that was what the mother-out-law said the day he walked out! (The story goes that out-laws too can break a relationship!)
Have a great weekend everybody!

I am just wondering......
If a man does all these, is he a wimp or a good candidate to be a good husband? These chores is for others, not himself.
1) Wash dishes.
2) Wash clothes.
3) Hang clothes.
4) Cook.
5) Vacuum, mop and clean the house.
6) Iron clothes.
7) Wake up every night the baby needs anything........
So what do you think?

To the movies.
I cannot remember actually when was the last time I went to a cinema to watch movies? Been supporting the illegal VCDs and DVDs peddlars...... I know.... I am wrong....
So last night at the last minute a friend invited me to a movie for free. As I was in a very not so good mood, I think why not? It was at Mid Valley. Ermm another place that I actually avoid! Cannot remember when was the last time I was there.....
You see I hate going to Mid Valley. I will usually spent time looking where I parked my car! The parking and the entrance to the mall is so confusing. Well maybe it is only me...... so forgetful and not that bright.....
Met my friends at the cinema entrance at about 8:45 pm. The show begins at 9 pm. As I was walking to the entrance of the cinema, I noticed so many familiar faces. First, most of them were from my industry...... (later on I found out the movie was sponsored by one of the Mobile Telecommunication Company).
Then I noticed Harith Iskandar, then the funny actor from Singapore (sorry I forgot his name, something like gazebo)..... As I entered the cinema lobby, more glamorous faces there..... Then I noticed there was no red carpet but a blue one instead.... and so many journalist.....
To be honest, I seldom watch Malaysian movie. But this movie has a Malaysian and Singaporean line up. Pleasantly surprised that the movie actually was done in three languages. Overall, I recommend that the movie is worthwhile watching.
It is a funny movie, yet some scene does touch your heart. It supposedly lift your spirit, but only a little bit. Half way thru the movie, a colleague commented to me, "Isnt that Pua Chu Kang?" Ermmm... I thought I was blur.....
Oh yes, I still hate Mid Valley. I found my car allright, but I had trouble finding the booth to pay the parking! It is near midnight, and I had to drive around that huge parking lot following other cars, with the same predicament as mine..... and I thought I was blur......

Excerpt of a long break.
Nothing much!
1) Busy with the income tax.
2) Had a big misunderstanding with my gf.
I so want to finish my working paper on goats, which I did not manage to finish!
I so want to draw/paint.... well maybe today I will do that.
Let me schedule my life again! Tomorrow is back to work.... I just can't wait for the weekend! Hehehe......

Mistaken Identity.
It was at night, even with the lights on, I was not sure what it was.
We were at the "Kandang Kambing" and decided to stay overnight. As it was already late, I went to one of the hut to take some matresses for us to sleep on.
As I was just about to take the matress, I realised something has made holes in it, and the foams werestrewn all over the floor. Two more mattreses needed to be burn.
Just when I was about to pull the matress away, I thought it was a big rat that scuttles away. It jolted me a little. Went out off the hut, to give sometime for the rat family to find its way to another home.
30 minutes later, I went back to pick up the hole infested matress to be burn. Was pulling one up, when there was a movement that jolted me again. I dont really like those big rats!
What the heck, I just picked up the matress and took it out to my friends. Yes we thought it was a big rat. The thing was in the mattress, running in it! One of my friends took a stick and beat the poor "rat" to death.
I thought that was it. And went to the hut to pick up the other mattress with one big hole. Then I heard a shrieking sound. Holy cow, that rat leaves her babies behind. At least that was what went thru my mind.
I groped thru the hole in the mattress. First I found one baby. It was quite. Then another shrieking sound! It seems there is one other baby that has wondered off to the edge of the mattress. Managed to get it out. I found only two babies........
Now what to do with these two orphans? I do not really like rats remember? Eventhough I use to have at least 50 hamsters, but rats, still give me the creeps......
Out off guilt, I pries open the other mattress where their mother was bludgeon to death. Behold, it was a mistaken identity. I really felt so lousy then!

These are the two orphans. Anybody wants them? Do not worry another friend is fending them now. At least they were receptive to being feed with tin milk....... Better call up my friend to see how the orphans are doing......

The conversation

Last night had our usual "lepak" time with the old boys. These friends grew up with me since we were 12 years old. We meet once in a while, like every other month. I reached there first. Then came H who is actually the homosexual in our group.
H has always been at ease with us, as we accepted him as he is. H even made jokes that his "wife" passed away everytime an outsider asked about his marital status.
Well it was kind of sad for me, sitting there watching him. Actually he is sick. I am not sure but his last partner seems to passed him an uncurable disease. Yup he is dying slowly..... but that is not what I want to write today. Maybe someday I will write about H.
We were talking about our school days. And H was telling how he missed his partner then. Lets call him G. Apparently, the partner he was referring to is now actually gone straight, with a wife and kids! So as we were on this subject, we talked about him and his conquest.....
When talking about it, I realised that there is something "sick" about it all. G was molested at the age of 6 by his own relative. So here is the list of G's conquest in our humble school.
a) Molested by G at the age of 13. Now he is married to a beautiful lady. A not so succesful business man. Looks secure, but actually very unstable. Nothing much is known about his marriage.
b) Molested by G at the age of 13. Passed away at the age of 18. Got drunk and drowned in UK.
c) Molested by G at the age of 13. Now an architect. Having an affair with one Dato. He is actually married, but more for convenient sake. Poor wife is suffering.
d) Molested by G at the age of 13. Now a fail business man. Still with his wife and has beautiful kids.
e) G lover, H. They broke of at the age of 15. H is now slowly dying.
f) Molested by G at the age of 16. Heard not married, having a stable job, somewhere in the Southern State.
g) Lover at the age of 16. He is now last heard in Australia. Most probably has changed gender.
h) Lover at the age of 17. He is an engineer with the government. Still not married.
8 kids were involved with G. Some molested some lovers. Well at least that was the story told by H. As I recalled, it might be true. As we were once, one crazy bunch of lost kids ......
I remembered those crazy seniors of ours..... at least 50% of them were experimenting with sex of the same kind. Most graduated to sex with the opposite gender. But some, still trapped until now.
I have treated them as friends from the beginning. Yet, I do feel the pain now, for those that have gone thru the molesting phase. They were young..... but who is to blame??? If not ourself!

An old friend.
I first knew him about 10 years ago. Was looking for one bad and really mean boss. Why? That is another story. Remind me to write about it.For about half a year he became my boss. I was supposedly be working for him for 3 months. Somehow, he extended my contract. The job was similar to an odd job labourer. I did everything.
Driver, bodyguard, runner, lecturer, office boy, technician etc. That was the time, I began to rub shoulders with the Datos and Tan Sris. That again is another story.
So my ex boss retired about 5 years ago. I see or called him every now and then. Somehow, with my new job for the last two years, I lost contact with him. Last week as I was going thru my phone name list, I saw his name. Pushed the button, just to check if the number was still active......
Him: Hello! Wa long time you have not called me.....
Me : Hi.. sorry la, have been busy with the new job ....
Him: So when can we meet.... it is definitely have been very long...
Me : Sure, I have not met you for quiet some times....
And we talk about some old stuff. He still sounds the same..... I hanged up promising to meet him soon.
However, the next day he called..... He sounds different.
Him: Hello DG, you know, as a pensioner, life is so lonely??.....
Me: Hey, I would pay a lot to be one (Jokingly).....
Him: It is killing me.... I feel so damn lonely....
And we talked some more. Again I promised to see him soon.
Yup, the next day he called me again...... so I made an appointment to see him that day. It was last Wednesday. He does sounds weird.
At the arranged time I was at the promised place. From far I looked at him. Oh my God, he is so thin. Not the same man I last saw about two years ago.
I called out to him, and he still recognised me. He told me I have grown on the waistline. We went to a nearby coffee shop. I ordered the drinks, and we sat. Politely I asked him, why he lost so much weight? He told me, for the past few months he couldn't eat.
He told me he was so lonely. I asked about his wife, and then his kids. He told me all of them are ok. I was about to asked him, why is he lonely..... when I saw him in a trance like mode. I called him.... about 6 times. I called him slowly, sensing something was not right. His eyes was filled with tears, and he was in a trance like motion for about 5 minutes.......
Then suddenly, he snapped out from whatever mode he was in. He asked me, if I called him that day. I reminded him, that he called me. Then he apologise to me, saying that he cannot remember why I am there to meet him. He said, he thought I am a taxi driver having conversation with him. Then he repeated what ever he said for more than 5 times.....
He kept on how lonely it is being a pensioner. I kept telling him, to keep on reading. Read whatever, newspaper, books anything. I remembered the mind (brain) if kept idle too long, it does wanders off on its own.... I forgot what was the scientific phrase....
We part about an hour later. All along, he was repeating, whatever he said, as though he has not said it before, whereas, he just said it a few minutes earlier.
The next day, he called me again. He told me how he really appreciate me visiting him. He told me, it is good if I can visit him in another 3 or 4 months. I told him, I will. I told myself to visit him earlier. As early as possible.
In that conversation, he told me. I am his only friend. It seems none of his friends called or visited him after his pension. He is an old friend. A lonely old friend. Within my limits, I will be there as a friend... a true friend.
Not a friend only when he was in power. But a true friend when one is reaching the end of one's journey. InsyAllah, let us all be friends till forever........
