Promoting Malaysian Bloggers Directory.

I am focusing on promoting Malaysian Bloggers Directory from now until end of September 2007, where this post will be on top of my latest post. After September we will see what happened.

Personally, I love the idea of this directory. The possibilities is endless, however whether ideas can be implemented or not is another issue. And the possibility of it being abuse is there. If all of us are responsible and sincere, we may be able to help to make this program, champion by an individual (enaizi), a success for the Malaysian Bloggers Community. Maybe a "single" huge voice of all the little little Malaysian Bloggers out here can be realised.

Below are some messages from enaizi the webmaster of MalaysianNetwork @ Malaysian Bloggers Directory . I am posting it here to so that we can understand enaizi explaination and vision. Do promote it on your blog too..... remember the possibility of a huge single voice is endless. Again my caution is not to abuse it.

Hi All
I'm the webmaster for the MalaysianNetwork.
This is a personal project that I've been working on in my free time for the last five years.
It started as a platform for me to try out new technology, especially RIA-based (Rich Internet Applications).

So DG, dont worry, its not {the government monitoring us.... "big brother"....}
but I guest it will make it easier for Muhammad son of Muhammad to find RPK's blogs for his next police report. :)

I developed a web crawler that starts from one blog and complile links from the blogs and continue to add more blogs.
So that's why inevetibly some non-malaysian blogs end up in the list.

Every day, just before I go for lunch, I'll start the crawler to update the lastest postings. By one hour, it will already indexed all the 2000+ active blogs.

No registration is required to include your blog. The registration is for members to access the online applications such as myOffice, myGroup etc, which will be available later. (Still under Beta testing)

For new blog, once added, it will be marked as "to be reviewed". Normally I will review them the same night.

The registration is not open yet. I disabled the register button but did not expect people to press [Enter]. You will be the first one to know once we are ready to accept new members.

Currently the online solutions are
available to selected groups. myOffice & myAccount for my two companies (50 staff), and the myGroup for my alumni association(4800 members). Trying to release it to the public by year end.
