Warriors in a War Zone.

When I was young, war games had been my favorite. Whether playing in the orchard as the battlefield or those small figurines played in a miniature lanscape build beside my house... it was always fun.

Of course when I grew up, wars become something dirty. I understood, death is a huge part of war. Not to mention the sufferings and all those unthinkable atrocities that comes with it. No matter how diginified a war is, the casualty is just too much... compared to whatever positive values it brings.....

So for the past few days, I have been in the usual War Zone. For the survival of the company, we must defend our turf. And that means war with our "rival".

There is no longer a clear line, defining the good or the bad guy. How can I call myself a good warrior, when in the end there will be loosers? We are given choice, only to "kill" the "rival" or else we will be "killed".

The war has only begun, and more battles will come. The objective is to wipe out the "rival". Is it the only solution? Whoever wins the war, the casualty will be felt. Some will loose their job, thus creating havoc down the food chain. Some might even goes bankrupt..... some might even loose their mind......

I am feeling dirty. Its time to rethink of my future. Is it worth it? The war will go on, but I do not have to be the warrior in the battlefield.

Ikan Bakar - Jalan Bellamy

Was bored, so I decided to have lunch at the infamous ikan bakar stalls in Jalan Bellamy, behind the Agung's palace. Surprisingly, there were a lot of patrons. All three stalls were packed with people.

There were four of us. We took 3 cuttlefish, 1 cat fish and 3 pieces of stingray. Ice lemon tea seems to be the drink for everyone. Cost us RM 74.00. This is my personal observation.

Ambience : Very uncomfortable, especially on a hot day.

Service : Good. Orders taken and delivered fast.

Price : By Metropolitan standard, average. Compared to the seafood restaurant in Klang Ports area, about 40 km away, it is a little bit high.

Food : Average taste compared to other outlets with similar menu in Malaysia. In Kuala Lumpur area, it is on the top ten list.

Presentation: Very simple.

Overall : To past boredom or for a quick lunch, it is a good place to eat, provided you dont mind the heat. But if you are a serious sea food lover, go to the Klang ports area (Port Klang, North Port and West Port) for dinner, and it is a little bit cheaper, more varieties and fresh.

Yeah this post is out off my boredom. So what do you expect me to do???

The Long Weekend.

Even though the weekend was uneventful, still I am beginning not to be happy going back to work. It has been a burden to drive to work. I wonder why?

What did I do on Saturday? Oh yes, I was helping my cousin for his wedding since Friday. I am The Video Person. Yes, since for so many years now, I take videos for my cousins' wedding. Not because I am good, but because I do it for free.......

I was told to wait outside, and in the end, no interview at all. Somehow, my boss partner, a Dato' thinks I was not good enough. Yeah, a big dent to my credibility and etc. .......

Now that I am running another affiliate company of my boss, which the Dato has no interest, I feel safe. When I asked to head the Jakarta outfit, I thought the Dato was not in the picture. He was not in the picture as I recalled. Sometime third quarter of 2006, my boss told me, he did not secure the Jakarta project.

Then last Friday, he told me he is going to Jakarta this 15th of February to sign the agreement. So he asked me to prepare myself the possibility of going to Jakarta in March. Ermm... then he told me the involvement of the Dato. It seems the Dato secured the project for him. Well, I would love the job, but I dont know if I am in. Wish me luck people..... Working Holiday

Monday blues was at its peak yesterday. Of course it started bad when Bears lost to Colts in the superbowl! Then the normal routine of nothing seems to be happening at work. Small issues that adds up and create lots of tension, at least for me.

The boss was adamant why the business development team was not adhering to the datelines? Why the project team is too slow in delivering their projects? Why I did not update him on crucial matters?

I did not even blink my eyes when I told him, he was too busy with his other companies. All report and updates were given to him according to his requirements. The projects was stopped under his direction. And who am I to overide him?

Fark! Time like this I feel like quiting. I can picture myself as a dog with its tail between its leg running away damn scared.......

Fark! Fark! Fark! I am not a dog! And I am not scared! And I will not run away! Today I will fight back those Monday blues.... as today is Tuesday ... It is not Monday!

And like a mother farker... I will make this JOB a working holiday.

What percentage of men cheat on their partners?

I really do not know. Serious... I have heard some nasty and bitter stories. But the real gravity to how many men, or the percentage of men that cheats, I have no idea. Again, if I were to use the 25% theory..... hehehe... wakakaka.... there are 75% possible cheaters out there.....

But again, what is the definition of cheating? Having more than one love? Having more than one sex partners? Having cyber relationship? Or maybe merely having another close friend?

My last statement, to most is nothing unusual, but there are ladies out there, who in their mind, it is a form of cheating in their relationship.

I have heard of extreme stories, a lady who even despice her partner, when he has some group of very close knitted male friends! Maybe that is more of a jealousy case than a cheating one.... but the story goes that the lady thinks that her partner, will start cheating because of the influence of this close circle of friends. I heard it nearly ended their marriage. I wonder how are they now?

So maybe we can define the real meaning of cheating in our relationship, then only we can find how many men actually cheats ........

How can love be wrong?

Being in love is definitely one magical moment. But how long does that moment last? Or will it last?

I am at lost here. I have always belief in real love. I have always belief that love can never be wrong.

I guess love is not wrong. It is human that interacts with love that tarnished it or even tainted it. So when I love a person, I will never stop loving that person.

It is sad, when one is dump by someone that they love......

The Goat Shed

Spent the whole day at my friend's little farm somewhere near Bangi. Remember the Boer goats? So my friend is now building his goat shed.

He spent a lot of time checking around and talking to people on how to built the shed. The cost and materials used too. Finally, he decided to built a standard goat shed. Measuring 40 feet by 24 feet. It should be able to accomodate 80 to 100 goats.

So far my friend has about 40 goats. 50% Boer and the rest a good mixture of local goats. He has his business strategy which I am still learning and comparing with other ideas. Most people do the goat business for two market sectors : 1) Breeding and 2) Meat. Will elaborate all these when I have more knowledge.

On the average, a shed that size cost about RM 25,000.00. He managed to lower it down below RM 20,000.00. We all hoped not sacrificing anything. Lets see when it is done.

Well as for me, I learn a thing or two on building goat shed.... it sets me daydreaming, building my own goat farm someday. I will name it D Goat farm. Short form DG. That will be the brand of my farm and goats.....
